Stephanie Sieswerda, training and technical assistance (TA) associate, has ample experience in program and project management, training, and TA. She has more than 10 years of experience in topics related to infant health, including breastfeeding, worksite lactation support, and safe infant sleep. She also brings expertise in quantitative and qualitative research methods and data analysis.

Sieswerda provides programmatic TA to Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV)-funded home visiting programs through the MIECHV Technical Assistance Resource Center. Previously, Sieswerda served as the TA specialist and program coordinator for the Texas Department of State Health Services’ Texas Mother-Friendly Worksite Program, a voluntary designation program for employers who offer policies and programs supportive of breastfeeding. She also served as a subject matter expert in infant health topics.

In 2014, Sieswerda received the Outstanding Clinical Research Professional Award from Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. More recently, she co-authored an article published in Frontiers in Public Health.

Sieswerda holds an MA in Social Science from the University of Chicago and a BA in Psychology from the University of Notre Dame.
