Join EDC at CIES 2019
EDC staff will join other partners in education at the 2019 Comparative and International Education Society (CIES) conference to discuss this year’s theme of “Education for Sustainability.” The meeting will be held in San Francisco, April 14–18.
Visit the EDC table (#4) in the exhibit hall, or join us for one of the many sessions presented by EDC staff, who will present original research findings on a variety of topics. For example:
- Trauma-informed approaches to building resilience for youth
- Preparing youth for the digital economy
- Achieving scale and sustainability
- Teacher coaching and mentoring
- Reading education, policy, and reform
In addition, join us on Tuesday, April 16, 8:30–10:30 p.m., for the USAID Education in Conflict and Crisis (ECCN) reception with co-sponsors INEE, JEiE, Basic Education Coalition (BEC), the Education Conflict and Emergencies SIG, and the Education Equity Research Initiative.
